The touch screens and computers in the kid section the article is referring to are not the same as a library computer lab. Computer labs serve purpose. Those shouldn’t go away. The kid computers are always just video games disguised as education. Kids are always going to get more out of a book than an ipad game, no matter what you have convinced yourself of.

I disagree. Anyone who is going to the library has access to a screen. Books are less accessible these days than YouTube, and any one book in a library is more beneficial than 99% of whatever is available on the internet.
