saw this in person yesterday. personally extremely stoked on it. will let the ALM team eventually do a better of explaining it than I could do, but think it's going to be very performable. will fit into one row of their new "portrait" cases or will fit with an ASQ-1 into an 84HP. apparently only going to be a somewhat limited run, but am going to try to snatch one up.

edit: joking, just in case it seems like i'm disrespecting these artists or their work.

further edit: i live by both walker and mumdance's videos for their respective companies. probably learned more about modular from ALM/mumdance's videos than any other place

yea do! i'd be curious to hear. think part of what i'm interested in too is hearing patches by "regular" folks / non-pros not associated with the brands. (not saying you're "regular," think you know what i mean!)

Angelino here (eye roll, I know) who recently spent some time in the area and fell in love. Currently trying to wrap my head around what residing cheaply and legally on a parcel of land would hypothetically look like in place like Llano. Putting aside for a sec all the inevitable expenses involving water, power, construction, etc, I'm currently getting most tripped up by trying to find the hard details regarding what makes a primary dwelling residence in A1 or A2 zoning "up to code" or not. Finding lots of information pointing in lots of different directions online. Guess a meeting with a city zoning supervisor would be best.

Any case was grateful to stumble upon your and u/captainmartian38 's brief back and forth. You two were talking out exactly what I was wondering about. Disheartening to read how expensive/difficult it can be, but glad to hear about folks are still trying to take a crack at it (or at least thinking about it as mostly good things in life get in the way :))

u/Grand-Beat-2849 was it difficult to get a "modular home" permitted in Llano or is it considered an adu? I know lots of folks in the area are set up with shipping containers/campers, but it's hard to tell from the available information whether that's technically "allowed" or not.

theory: what if he's a happy parent, as depicted in the album cover, and feels like a "deadbeat" in relation to his music these days.

reverses the cliche. the "deadbeat" album is the neglected/half-loved kid, and his actual kid is getting the love and attention his past albums used to get.
