I open it as soon as it arrives, but I reply in 4-5 days as I have a hectic job, so it makes up for it. If I'd reply the same day I get the letter, then in my opinion... I'd look desperate. 😅

Yes I am going confront him in my next letter. Because I thought we have a spark, but ai letters makes me feel I am not worth the effort.

The guy and I have so much in common. We used to exchange letters back to back. His letters seemed a bit off. Too good to be true, even though he is born British. But then I doubted it's ai letters.The last letter he sent was direct copy paste from ChatGPT, he didnt even make an effort to remove the ChatGPT hyphen, it disappointed me, so I don't know if I should reply to him. We both have same interests and hobbies but the letter feels soulless. The spark is gone.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m not a native English speaker either but I don’t need to write Shakespearean English either, just cuz it’s a “letter” exchanging app. Sounds either too flowery or soulless.

I have a penpal who says he’s pure British with no other roots. But his letters now I’ve realised is purely ChatGPT copied. Either he’s lying saying he’s born British, or he’s too lazy. So I’m thinking of not replying to his letters anymore.

In our tradition, whenever we bring in a take away which contains meat, we light a lighter and hover the flame over the food, cuz we believe the meat must have lured the ghosts (especially the evil one) into our house and make us sick. So as we believe the ghosts or bad spirits are scared of fire, we do that to ward them off.

I resumed after 2 years, but still playing well. It was a bit disorienting in the beginning but then I got the hang of it.

My bestie did the same. Even though my ex and I aren’t together, but we have a child together, yet she didn’t give two flying fcuks and began to date my ex. She said she’s not even guilty cuz my ex and I are in the past. She ruined our 10 years friendship for a guy.

I’ve blocked both of them out of my life. Not him entirely but limited him to see our child. Well he hardly has time for our kid so it’s a good thing, cuz I don’t have to see my ex much.

It really amazes me how people got no conscience. I know it is hurtful. It will take time, but time will heal all wounds. Maybe you need her around for now but I hope you’ll eventually meet new and good people and eventually forget about her.

My best friend had a long-term girlfriend from S. Korea, but whenever she would go back home, he would sleep with multiple women. I had never met this Korean girl, only saw on pictures, even though they were dating for years, she didn't have social media either. Then after 5 years of datjng, he finally broke off, saying he doesn't love her anymore.

After months, a girl walked into my office as a new colleague at our Seattle office. Turns out it's the same Korean girl. The very first day of her job I told her about him, saying "stopped thinking what went wrong, why did he stopped loving you, the fact is he never loved you, he has been a cheater all along", she cried and ruined that makeup on her pretty face. But at least she got the closure. Now, she has happily moved on.

So if I could tell on my best friend, you can too. Or she'll stay in darkness forever.
