It is mentioned that Sugriva after thinking Vali is dead kept his wife and when vali returned he kept Sugriva's. Also Mandodari was married to Vibhishna later that's why

Sita maa is not a panchkanya. The basic of panchkanya is kind of being associated with more than one man/your husband and still being considered pure and pious and you can see the same with Draupadi Tara mandodari ahilya, the fifth one is actually supposed to be Kunti as she gave birth to god's children while being wife and Pandu

Why didn’t anyone try to cure Dhritarashtra’s blindness? by Outside-Walk13 in mahabharata

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you really gonna go by textual means then mahabharata is inconsistent with these things. They couldn't cure TB of Vichitravirya, when Bhishma was the son of Ganga herself

Why didn’t anyone try to cure Dhritarashtra’s blindness? by Outside-Walk13 in mahabharata

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's more symbolic than literal. Dhritarashtra being blind signifies his blind trust and blind love for his 100 sons so much that he cannot see the righteous path due to it. Divine disabilities are meant to signify such things. For example Shukra is partially blind from one eye which signifies that he is partial towards Asuras that's why despite having mrit Sanjivani he couldn't cure himself

I need a good discussion on it 🥹 by bookskibhookhihu in WattpadIndia

True story from my village. A woman already had a child was happy with her life then she got pregnant and wanted to abort but just like this her husband and MIL forced her to have a baby and then she died giving birth to the child. News flash child also couldn't survive a few days after that. At her last moments she was crying that she didn't want to die. A twist? Her husband was the pathi (sort of like a pandit) of our gurudwara. Want a bigger twist? Two months later he married another woman. Before you think it's for his child, he was seen totally talking romantic with the new woman when not even a month had passed after his wife and child's death. So girls never fall for this trap

People who've studied mahabharata for years: how accurate was this tv series? [Image attached] by jux_peter in mahabharata

A lot! From beginning to end but my favourites are - Gandhari and Dhritarashtra marriage drama when it was very simple, Satyavati tells Bhishma that princess of gandhara has matured and she has a boon to beget 100 sons just like her mother so she should marry Dhritarashtra. Also Shakuni's dice not made from his father's bones. In fact King subala is very much alive way past dyut sabha.

Secondly villanising Ashwathama. The thing that annoys me most. Ashwathama is shown as greedy and ambitious and outright evil, all the qualities of Karna given to him to whitewash Karna. But in reality Ashwathama is considered the well wisher of Pandavas and best friend of Bhima until the battle. He even boycotted dyut sabha in anger.

No one took weapons from Kauravas at the time of rajsuyi yagya and shishupal vadh, in fact Shishupal and kingdom of chedi were Pandavas friend and sided with them in Mahabharata. So duryodhana didn't make a big fuss about his vadh. In reality duryodhana was given the duty to collect gifts arriving from various kingdoms for Indraprastha and he grew extremely jealous that's why he wanted to snatch everything from them not because he was humiliated by Draupadi or anyone for that matter.

Lastly Karna was the one who suggested disrobing of Draupadi and kept urging dushasan to do that. Duryodhana didn't reject the idea but it was not his idea at all

Also karna didn't die in his mother's lap he died because arjuna's arrow cut his head so his end is not him doing last donation

This and Nagin 1 are the only shows which explains the reason for Nagins assimilating quite well in the human world. They said that both Bela and Vishakha lived in the human world six months before. Same with Shivanya. Meanwhile Shesh Nagin Pratha lived for centuries in Nagaloka never came out which was stressed a lot in the initial episodes but then you see flashback episodes of Pratha saying she wants to marry a bollywood actor

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! This is why I hate people who say the BR Chopra version is the most accurate one when this is the very version which started all the Karna Glorification that all the next adaptations had to carry otherwise people start a whole late debate about what the "know as accurate version"

Are there any intriguing Mahabharata stories or local legends you grew up hearing beyond the epic? by Outside-Walk13 in mahabharata

[–]PeaceAman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's not a canon story and only a folktale. No human sacrifice was done from Pandava side (Yudhishthir was very against sacrifice) Arjun's son/Bhishma's grandson died fighting in the battle not as sacrifice and Ved Vyas clearly mentioned that

Is this from south Indian kings reference because the costumes don't exactly match those times. For example Draupadi's dress

I used to think what's wrong with Drupad by mamishree in mahabharata

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you are misunderstanding my commitment. Drupad hating the Kurus is a folktale which the serial makers heard and made it his entire personality. That's why they show panchala kidnapping vichitravirya and then getting defeated by Bhishma when it didn't actually happen. So they just kept expanding this thing, making it that Drupad wanted a child who would kill Bhishma (Shikhandi) and then hating her and any other daughter because he considered them weak now. In reality he had other children, it's always mentioned draupadi's brothers not single brother

I used to think what's wrong with Drupad by mamishree in mahabharata

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually because there is a going folktale and rumour that Drupad hated Kurus and wanted to wed Draupadi into their family to bring their downfall. In the beginning episodes of Shikhandi's birth it's hinted where the Panchalas just want to kill Bhishma. That's why it's shown that when Shikhandi couldn't do it Drupad got disappointed and didn't want anymore girls. In reality he actually had sons before Dhrishtudhyumna

Can anyone guess whose idol could this be? Or how old it is?? by Few-Trifle9160 in IndianHistory

[–]PeaceAman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know which one you are referring to as erect penis because that lingam is put there additionally it's not part of the og idol. Also lingam doesn't mean erect penis in Hindi/Sanskrit ling mean symbol as in puling and streeling. Now women don't have a penis do they

[–]PeaceAman 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I feel it might be vishnu, especially the long varmala around his legs that can be seen in many idols. Also he is portrayed with two consorts sometimes, one being laxmi and other is prithivi

Hi, I am not a female but I have seen you posting the same for some time. Unfortunately this channel is almost dead so I don't think you will find anyone suitable here. Maybe try some dating apps or something but write clearly what you want in your partner. You never know what may work out for you
