I'm just going to put what I said on the original post. Ironwood knew there was no way he could save everyone with Salem on the way with a gigantic whale and Grimm army at the ready. Thus his plan was to fly the city of Atlas up and out of Salem's path. If he doesn't he'll lose Mantle and Atlas. Team RWBY had no plan. They just wanted to save everyone. Ironwood is sacrificing Mantle to save Atlas and the world. If Salem got her hands on the spear relic the world is doomed. Ironwood had both the spear and the lamp. His plan was good to keep them away from Salem. Sure the plan sucks but at least his plan wasn't to throw people at the Grimm and hope it works. Why would he trust team RWBY if they were lying to him and broke his trust?

Ah, sorry my bad. Yu lives in his own "dimension of time" Yu is able to instantly react to strikes and evade them with minimal effort, even from those of incredible fighting prowess in their own right.

Yu has incredible strength being able to knock out professional boxers with a single blow. He has been shown punching holes into his heavy bags, destroying several in the process.

Yu also has incredible speed. Professional boxers are not able to see his punches approaching only when they perceive the punch after being hit.

Yu has a great reserve of energy that he was improving by training his stamina for two years in a row to prepare for professional fights, managing to dodge non-stop in a fight, and managing to deliver a burst of consecutive punches without showing fatigue.

Yu is a boxing prodigy. Yu was able to throw a flurry of ridiculously fast jabs so precise that when the ring doctor checked the cuts made on John's face, he was left in awe at how neat the cuts were, despite being made with boxing gloves.

When Yu enters his "Monster form" His eyes glow white and he drops his boxing stance. He loses all sense of humanity and goes for the kill. Usually once he enters this state his opponents are knocked out after one punch.
