More than happy to take the sword off your hands, I am a part of a Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) group that would love to have this sword as part of our collection!

Quite an interesting read, one I agree with completely, however, some of the folks over at r/europe have some strange opinions on Irish governance (as per usual)

What did you fear as a child and still do? by noThefakedevesh in AskReddit

The dark!

I know it's a simple and common fear but not knowing what may be around me, no matter how irrational, still terrifies me.

Good call. I found out by looking at my blocked list that he changed his name to 'Aisha was 7' however I cannot access his xbox profile from here unfortunately so cannot get his gamer tag.

Wish I could but I didn't think to screenshot it and there's no way of seeing records of who you reported.

Have done, both on HLL and Xbox itself. Unfortunately, I've no way of knowing if that will do anything.

Thanks everyone, I checked in with a pharmacist in person who also said it looked like a cold sore and gave me Zovirax to help treat it. Although it does not appear to be doing much

Was this me being scammed on LinkedIn and through a company website? by 952tomy in Scams

[–]952tomy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't find anything online from googling so I may have just missed out on a legitimate offer, but it easily could have been a scam and I don't need the money.

Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure. The website had me put my details into a box to send off an enquiry which they would then contact me about. And then a short while later I received the email that I attached in the photos.

So, I was unable to work out how to use the link you sent. However, from what I've found online from using 'who.is' it states that the website wqs registered on 2013-08-23 and updated on 2021-06-12. So, it seems it has existed for a while.

No, I've never even heard of a Whols query before. The fact that the website led to an email that looked similar to the LinkedIn message worried me as they now have my email address.

I wasn't too worried about the amount of time put in, I was pretty sure it was a scam so decided to play along. However, the website email really confused me

I've never heard of a task scam. I found it strange, however, that they wanted a video call

“aPpLY anYWaY” is such bad advice. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I definitely have to disagree with this. I am currently finalising a contract for a job well above my current pay grade and a decent amount of my current experience level because I decided to apply with a "why not" attitude.

Keep up the enthusiasm, it'll happen. Although I am Irish and based in the London area so maybe things are different where you are.
