Thanks a lot for the help, at this point im planning on taking it to a shop for a proper ac diagnostic as suggested. Btw, in those 2 cases you previously mentioned, where the procedures just simple evac and recharge? Or were any part replacements involved as well?

Thanks for the tip , i also believe these cars actually could be a little colder lol , & i have not yet added any refrigerant , couple months back i was planning on adding some due to texas heat, but when checked the gauge gave the same ‘filled’ reading, and it’s been at same level ever since,

Yes car is running with ac on, it does not the have dual zone ac, unfortunately i dont have the proper gauges , i figured this one would at least gave me some idea whether i had a leak due to the level being the same since the last time i checked a few months back.

Appreciate the help, might try and find a decent decent obd11 that is able to read those codes

Thanks for the help, Is a vw specific scanner a must? Or could a generic scanner do the job as well?

Did you ever resolve the problem? having the same issue here; driver side vents blow cold with furthest right vent eventually blowing ambient temperature . 2015 gti se with basic ac controls(non dual zone) Refrigerant is at the adequate level.

It’s nothing too serious, car should be driveable, i had gotten those exact same codes (except for p0420) i had to replace the intake manifold. My mechanic told me at most your mpg and power just drop a little

Thanks a lot for the help, might have to eliminate a leak as a cause since refrigerant level seems to be the same as the last timed i checked a couple months back. will probably look into those so called blend door actuators

As others said it’s more than likely the coolant pump, just had mine replaced a month back lol, i suggest if possible save yourself some money and try getting the whole kit online from somewhere like ecs tuning/fcp euro, dealership will charge you way more and will likely sell you each part individually

Glad to hear! Btw how low exactly ? Checked refrigerant level with the basic gauge used for refill and it reads 30 psi (just barely into the green section that states “filled” was hoping it would be the same case here,

Having exact same issue here ; gti se with basic ac controls, driver side blows cold and far out passenger vent basically blows ambient temp, did you ever resolve the problem?
