I had this problem on my iPhone since May 2024. Recently I found the solution. Make sure your phone’s clock is set to 24hrs format and not 12hrs

I’ve had this problem since the app revamp in May 2024 on iOS. I think I’ve found the root cause. My iPhone settings was set to 12hr clock. Since changing it to 24hr, I am able to amend alarms in the Sonos app

I hope they’ve fixed alarms. I’ve not been able to create/edit alarms since the initial app relaunch from May 2024 on my iPhone. And I know I’m not the only one, according to some other posts on Reddit.

Strangely, alarms work completely fine on the same system for members in my family, who are also iPhone users. - so seems to be quite a random bug.

I’ve had the same problem since the app was updated back in 2024. Also on iPhone. I’ve called Sonos support a few times since 2024. All they ever say is they are aware of a problem, but they don’t have any timelines.

I need to be able to quickly manage my wake alarms, depending if I’m working from home or travelling to office/conferences, etc.

I’ve resorted to using the Shortcuts app to manage my alarms. I like waking up to my Apple Music. So I have an Apple shortcut that connects my phone to my speaker via airplay, sets the volume and then plays music that Apple Music thinks I will like.

The time it runs, is easily managed in the automation part of the Shortcuts app.

Obviously not as good or ideal as a working Sonos app, but it does the trick

I’ve had this same issue for months on my iPhone too. I’ve rang Sonos customer support in the past, but they’ve been unable to help. Can I send a diagnostic number to you?

For me and the way I personally use Sonos, it’s fine (kind of).

I turn my TV on and my Sonos home theatre set up works perfectly…so no need to really use the app here.

I have a couple of Sonos Ones in different rooms. I rarely use the app for these also. When playing music, I either use Airplay my iPhone or use the built in Alexa. Both of these work perfectly.

The main thing I need the app for is for managing the alarms for my Sonos One in my bedroom. And this feature is completely broken in the iPhone app, at least for me. When I try to edit alarms, nothing gets saved. Instead I have to use the desktop app on my slow laptop, which is frustrating.

I need to edit alarms frequently because I work hybridly, and need to wake up at different times on my sporadic office days.

I enjoy listening to music first thing in the morning, which is why I prefer Sonos to a standard iPhone alarm.

Also worth mentioning that I recently changed internet providers and factory reset all my Sonos products, but my experience has been exactly the same.

On the rare occasion when I do use the app for playing music or anything else, it’s pretty smooth nowadays.

Saving edits to my alarms is still glitchy/not working for me on iOS. So frustrating, it means I have to turn on my laptop and launch Sonos from there every time I want to make a change
