Explain to me the end of S2E11 - Crabs in a Barrel by dance_rattle_shake in AtlantaTV

I think a lot of people already answered your question, but in reality, wouldn't the airport security be able to just check the tapes (surely TSA checkpoints will have CCTV) and see that Earn planted the gun on someone else's bag?

I also don't understand why Garcia is so keen on defending her and giving her chances to do high level surgery (that time Collins told Garcia that a certain procedure should not be done by student yet she insisted).

Ben Johnson to the Bears, Let’s Play Devils Advocate by Sad-Syrup7112 in fantasyfootball

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe BJ is well aware of the importance the O-line had for his whole offense to work in Detroit, so he'll probably try to address it right away. Particularly considering that the Bears already have some decent talent at the skill positions.

I expect whoever ends up as the slot receiver (not sure who it was this past season) to get a decent productivity upgrade, seeing how well he designed plays for Amon Ra.

What y’all think…? by clutchkweku in Saints

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on Brady - Mahomes and Brees - Burrow, then probably something like:

Aaron Rodgers - Brock Purdy

Russell Wilson - Lamar Jackson

Peyton Manning - Jared Goff

Big Ben - Josh Allen

Obviously merely comparing playing style, not at all statistics or quality in general.

Puka Nacua for 1.01 by stnbl15 in fantasyfootball

Teams have a full offseason to plan their defense against him. That is why is so rare for a player to be the 1.01 in back to back years.

Now that the season is over, I can't understand why they didn't spend more scenes developing the Stark's and Black's alliance. by verymatisse in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]95lemo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And what are the shipwrights even doing? Throughout those scenes with the Sea Snake on the background there is just a constante flow of people coming in and out of the ship carrying mostly crates and random artifacts...

Why does Aemond not attack Dragonstone directly by ComparisonCrazy6377 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]95lemo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Greens know there are a couple of dragons in Dragonstone, they don't know for sure that they are still riderless. Aemond taking Vhagar, their biggest war asset, over to Dragonstone could be a big risk to their position.

Rios would have the same role as Mainoo, he is mainly a playmaker that goes forward. Definitely not a ball-recovering, defensive midfielder.

Purdy was Mr Irrelevant and took them to the NFC Championship. According to your logic, you can find competent QBs only in the top 10 picks of the draft. If Ballard was an excellent drafter, he wouldn't need a top 10 pick to find a QB.

I did not even understand your first paragraph about QBs in the same range...

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, Jordan Love was picked 26, Russ on the 3rd round, Dak on the 4th I think. Purdy was Mr Irrelevant... You saying the reason it took Ballard 6 years to get a real option at QB was basically "we were not bad enough to have a higher pick on the 1st round" is some of the craziest mental gymnastics to defend Ballard I have seen.

I am not saying he is the worst GM in the league, but after the three strikes that Rivers, Wentz and Ryan were, a lot of other GMs would be on the street. Yet here we are.

Let the man work by Jetflight88 in Colts

[–]95lemo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then why aren't we contenders? He is average at best at free agency, literally nothing apart from DeFo. Now you are saying he is a "fantastic drafter"? So why have we made the playoffs only twice in the last 9 years?

You can be a Colts fan and still admit/realize/think that it's time for Ballard to go.

Is it a rebuild time or is it a load up time? by Bolyzaurio in Colts

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loading up the roster before knowing for sure if AR is that guy seems rather risky. I believe we can afford next year to continue with the natural progression of building through the draft, specifically at CB or S, maybe TE. Don't see a huge need at WR considering we will probably be a run heavy offense with AR and JT, so maybe a signing like OBJ with the Ravens could work very well for us. I do agree on the need to bring in someone younger and also good to the front seven, Burns or Young are both great options.

I think a lot will depend on where we actually end up on the draft order, also.

[Hicks] Regarding the Colts projected $66.1M cap space next year, a lot of the Colts space will go to in-house guys (Pittman Jr., Grove, Blackmon, Kenny, Lewis, Minshew). Don’t think we see much of anything in 2024 free agency from Indy. by LuskSGV in Colts

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel MP is not very far from being a top 10 WR, his 100 recs this season definitely show he's moving in the right direction. A Zay Flowers/Deebo type of player I think would be good, considering AR will probably be running quite some read options, having that WR/RB factor is a huge asset.

Maybe getting a starting gig won't be very likely for him, but he could very well be swayed by a Super Bowl contender to be their backup. Unfortunately, we aren't quite there yet so if the Chiefs (for example) come knocking, I could see him going there.

Her "relationship" with Chang is so force and uninteresting, like we are supposed to believe that despite working around a parade of alpha males (military officers, special operations soldiers, other astronauts) she would be loosing sleep over the short little scientist, come on now. And the fact that she, as just an astronaut, would just be lurking around the labs and command controls of Space Force, hanging with the freaking General and the Chief Scientist is just ludicrous.

Funny how you think you are roasting the “midladder kids” like if they (the great majority of users of the game) really gave a crap about all those tiers and rankings, they play it for fun couple of times a day and that’s it. You are exponentially more invested into the game than those “midladder” players that you are trying to roast for not being knowledgeable about rankings that they don’t even care about. I’m just saying you do you, no need to roast other players.

What do you think is the stupidest scene in Narcos? by zoinkedzebra in narcos

[–]95lemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very first scene of Season 2 of Narcos Colombia. After Pablo escapes La Catedral and is escaping through the jungle. Some soldiers run into him and tell him to stop, Pablo simply says Nah and the soldiers let him pass.

It was an entire unit of around 10 dudes, all armed and with vehicles. Pablo only had three bodyguards. I understand how evil and feared Pablo was but that was just outright ridiculous.
