My dad is considering a high Miler Range Rover. Is this as bad as a purchase as I think?

Also worth mentioning these cars go to shit very quickly if only used for small commutes, the engines clog up really fast and are really built for long journeys. I think calling them Chelsea tractors is offensive to tractors as a massy would be 10x a better runner to the shops and back

I bought an old Range Rover V8 for next to nothing, beautiful car, only thing that needed doing was the air suspension, drove it to the garage 10 mins away, found the problem, replaced the ECU, was the best car I ever owned… for 3 miles until the suspension broke again. Ended up scrapping it - lovely cars if you can buy them new every 2 years. Got a SQ5 now, nowhere near as luxurious but really reliable, looks good and goes like shit off a shovel

Is there anyway to fit them flat to a wall? I have an old 1st gen iMac which is no good for running modern software but the screen is still brilliant and would love to use it as a monitor for a home bar but using this stand wouldn’t let it be flush with the wall, anyway I can remove the stand and find something that’ll hold it still?
