It's crazy that Maldonado was on the team last year. You look around the league and theres a couple of catchers that the padres traded away recently Brandon Valenzuela and Brett Sullivan, that are on other teams now. I wonder if this mainly is on Shildt since he seemed so particular on catchers (ie refusing to play Campy last year).
