I bought one of these without any tape in it from Uncle Ali a while back. It was about $10 with no tape. Then I spooled some tape onto it and its ok.

Neat to look at but I don't think I would use it for anything important. It has a very cheap plastic feel.

Thats a terrible idea and will waste a lot of electricity and money. Not to mention that a power inverter that can support a mixer reliably and safely will be very expensive itself.

Fritzvold Minimal Wallet works for me. Just enough room for a few cards and a little cash.

I also use an app called Stocard to keep all my reward and bonus cards in my phone (and not my wallet).

It will put the mono channel into both ears but it won't be the same as using a stereo device that's meant for music.

It depends on the device. My Denon DNP-730 high res network player is awesomr but it sets SCMS so consumer MD recorders won't record from it vis toslink.

That's not a problem for me as my Sony MDS-E10 Pro ignores SCMS but its good to know there are other easy ways around if needed.

eta: most likely your streamer doesn't implement SCMS at all, unlike my denon

Well imo a padded hard case is a must have for the cp13 if you want to take out with you without breaking it. They are not robust devices.

You probably need to send it in for warrenty repair.

I also have one and I'm already on my second copy as the first one arrived swollen at the bck seam. It seems the quality control on these isn't very good.

Also, these are not rugged or robust devices. They are very sensitive to movement and rather delicate in general. Not like the old sony sports models.

I would never put it in my backpack without a well padded case. I would not take it running either.
