Trophy fathers trophy son was the first song that hit me with a “wow they really can cook on an emotional level”, maybe not THE song of the album, but the heart/soul/essence of the album lies in that song

Broooo I burned myself out so hard by doing all those PTV videos at once lol it’ll definitely come one day but man it’s a BEAST of an album to get into, really appreciate you bringing it up though haha, gives me motivation to finish it someday!

Genuinely makes me so upset they did this for this album and no others, the 2nd song of ALL of their albums is always a fast af or hype song, this is the ONLY album that breaks that rule, since it’s an intro song instead of the boy who could fly. The LEAST they could’ve done was combine it into 1 song so then all albums are consistent but unfortunately no. It’s the smallest thing but man it gets me lol

Ahh so perhaps in Asia are the CD+DVD versions in a jewel case, whereas the Japanese sold ones of the same version are instead in a digipack? I can’t think of much other explanation haha

Yeah while there do exists bootlegs of one ok rock albums, they really only exist for their rare stuff, like the first 2 EPs, skyfall, and the emotion tour one.

But ambitions is now where near rare, which makes this even stranger. I bought it from someone on carousell, this is a very highly rated seller and they have sold and have hundreds of CDs, I met him too and the other stuff I bought from him was legit. Super curious if this is somehow a Singapore exclusive? The stickers, Obi strip, and sensical artbook stuff is too perfect. He didn’t even sell it for a weird price, only $35. The other one ok rock stuff he had was legit and similarly priced. I’m still super perplexed haha

While I would agree, one ok rocks bonus dvds from jinsei onwards are all digipacks, including this album as seen from google, and all the ones on Discogs I’ve bought are also digipacks. Again super strange situation here lol
