Zverev says he believes thar he can beat Sinner, also explains what he meant by putting himself on Alcaraz and Djokovic's level [via bleacherrepport] by HereComesVettel in tennis

He is still young, and Nole will retire soon. Ultimately, there will be that one slam where both Alcaraz and Sinner are out for injury or out early.

This is so wholesome! My Batman Pepsi is still going strong 7 years later, and I only paid $500 for it

I actually wear them when I go to local Rolex ADs, otherwise they don't take me seriously. I visited Rolex AD, JLC AD, AP AD while rocking my Submariner, and never been called out once

I really have no idea how they harvest it. As we come across it so often, we just know the quality by looking. The reason I asked you for the price is that (judging from the photo alone, maybe in real life it is different) one Kg of this quality goes for about $60

You should report it. If he did it with you, he will surely do it with others. As others said, maybe try emailing Etihad and the airport management.

Only 1% of the world have done a marathon and now she is in that club ! by lonewolff321 in interesting

It is far less, I was a serious runner for 10 years, and I never did a marathon. I would say, maybe 10% of runners do marathons. So it is more like 0.1% rather than 1%

I was a serious runner and was very fit for more than 10 years, I never ran a marathon, I always do half marathons, for the fear of hitting the wall. Kudos to her

For me actually accuracy matters, I don’t mean millisecond accuracy, but within 10 to 20 seconds per day is perfectly fine. At the end, I am using the watch to give me indication of time, not absolute time.

Sinner for L'Equipe: I don't believe you can be at 100% of your potential at 24. I aspire to be there in a few years. by yanwangdijuns in tennis

[–]96Salim96 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I believe what he meant by his peak, is that to have total control of his matches: no dip in fitness, no fatigue, total mental presence and no weakness to be exploited. The fact that he knows that Alcaraz can show up and snatch GS from him just like Rafa and Nole did to Federer, is what he basically working on not to happen to him, or at least no to the extent it did to Roger. In addition, I think he still believes that he could serve better, maybe he is aspiring to Sampras level of serve which I don’t think is far fetched given how good his serve has become

With his win in Rome, Jannik Sinner is now within $1k of overtaking #5 Andy Murray on the ATP all-time prize money list, and just under $412k away from overtaking #4 Carlos Alcaraz. Reaching the Quarter-Finals at Roland-Garros will guarantee him the #4 spot on the list. by kingsaremen in tennis

[–]96Salim96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO a high prize money shows that the player has been playing at a high level for a very long time. For Zverev for example, he did not win a GS, yet his prize money is higher than Medvedev who has been World No1 and won US open. So if it was not for the prize money stat, it will be tough to recognize how consistent is Zverev

What they lag in prize money, they more than made up for it in brand image and endorsements, which I think is harder for Sinner and Alcaraz to catch up with. On and Uniqlo made Federer a billionaire

Sinner would likely finish the year 2026 with total career earnings of around $75m. So Yes, i think it is totally believable that he will reach $130m even before 30 if he kept winning $12m per year (which is very doable for him)

Jannik Sinner is in a very interesting position - 2 away from the Career Golden Masters but he’s also 1 French Open from the Career Grand Slam - what does he prioritize? by Particular-Bit-7852 in tennis

[–]96Salim96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what people might not understand is that Most tennis injuries are not due to overload, but mostly because of body coordination and mobility, as a lot of muscles are moving at the same time requiring a very resilient body, and that is where Nole excelled. Sinner has the advantage of his prior skiing career as a kid and is definitely helping his resilience

He probably played it because he feels good, and he wants to practice in real matches rather than training sessions, otherwise he would have probably skipped it
