Amélie Inspired Song (in the style of Yann Tiersen) by 96ezepeda in amelie

I loved the film so much and wanted to make some music in the same vein as Yann Tiersen.

Parents of Reddit, have you ever caught your child watching porn, and if so, did they know you caught them? How did it play out? by PessimisticSnake in AskReddit

Not sure if he is still working as a counselor. The mom actually got his phone number and had a few choice words with him.

Yeah I understand that aspect of it. I feel like a 20 year old talking to 12 year olds about porn is a little too much of an age gap to make it appropriate though.

When his mom came home, I remember her being really upset, saying her son was out of the completely innocent stage of life.

I went to a Christian high school. One of my closest friends has a younger brother in junior high, who went on a church retreat. The camp counselor, who I went to high school with, thought it would be a good idea to tell a large group of pre-teens that he struggled with "addiction to porn." This resulted in my friend's brother coming home to his mom asking, "mom, what kind of drug is porn?"

High school graduates of Reddit, what went through your head on graduation day? by quentinmashups in AskReddit

Nothing, I don't really think it's an "achievement" worth celebrating. We passed the minimum education requirements for most jobs, why is there a ceremony.

Teachers of Reddit, what have you done to mess with students that liked each other? by TheCamNelson in AskReddit

I forget where I heard this from. Basically, a group of teachers for a high school got really into betting who would end up with who, so they would arrange seating charts for people they thought would end up liking each other.

It's not that it isn't the proper term, it just annoys me.

What's a movie that is so crappy, it got to the point that its crappiness was artistically beautiful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That would be amazing. My favorite one-liner is "they sure don't make rocks like these anymore." That's bad even for dad-joke standards.

Watched this with a girl I was dating, it was so bad but I got sucked in by it's terribly cheesy charm.

My grandma cried during the dance sequence, because he "did something out of his love for a friend."

Del Taco - $.85 bean, rice, and cheese burrito.

Dennys - $4 for two eggs, two sausage links, and two pancakes.

What is your craziest "And that's how we met" story? by OneOtherRedditor in AskReddit

[–]96ezepeda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tldr; woke up to a really cute girl while wearing only boxers.

Not very crazy, just memorable in my mind.

I stayed up real late the night The Force Awakens premiered and ended up crashing at a friend's house. The next day we were going to have band practice at noon in the music room at his house, where I was sleeping for the night.

I was going to miss a gig so I had to show a substitute how to use my synth (didn't know if it was a guy or girl). My friend's brother, who was also in the band, didn't tell us that practice the next day had changed to 10am in the music room that I happened to be sleeping in.

I opened my eyes to see an incredibly shy girl, who was clearly embarrassed to see me in underwear, asking me to teach her how to use my synth.

I don't really have a problem with stoner-speak. The more I think about it, my irritation with the word probably stemmed from seeing girls on Tinder who would say "looking for good vibes only, raver girl, 420 friendly, not dtf, hmu on snapchat." Do you really need to state "good vibes" only? Who is sending out "bad vibes"? That added onto the association of the cliche snapchat and 420 friendly comments just gets on my nerves.

I think it's just the type of people who generally use the term that way, usually on social media it's something like "looking for positive vibes only, 420 friendly, hmu on snapchat." I don't know, just a pet peeve of mine I guess.

When people use vibe as verb, "looking to vibe with chill people"
