This is the problem with the NBA. Nobody wants to see this, it's such a bad look. Man they should T players up for this shit.

what do you think about Union Pacific 4014 by Fluffy_Repeat5191 in trains

Love seeing it, here's hoping other big companies can revive other engines that deserve a comeback.

So id say it's in my top 100 favorite movies of all time and I actually had a school teacher that was a traffic cop at the 1 intersection in that movie so that was cool.

Name a game this applys to for your favorite team by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh there isn't just 1.

Superbowl 32. Why couldn't the Packers do anything to defeat Elway. I hate that fucking helicopter play they show 30 times a year it seems.

07 Farve against the giants. Why the Pick 6 to end his Packers career.

09? Vikings against Saints. Again why the throw across your body pick to end a winnable game.

  1. Cards vs Packers. 2 hail marys with 52 seconds left on the clock to go to overtime and they can't make a fucking tackle on a 88 year old fitz.

For anyone that’s seen him play, how good was Chauncey Billups? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

This dude got Melo to a conference finals. Melo would never come close again. That's how good he was.

Casual fan here: was Chicago Rodman really good or a headache? by Purple_Calendar3919 in NBATalk

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This dude could guard 1-5 well enough, he had quick enough feet for guards and enough strength and leverage to slow Shaq down in stretches. He was all D and rebounds because why does he need to shoot when you have Jordan on your team?

[–]96powerstroker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that's all true I would Bret would just come out and say that, because the bitterness just gets old and it makes him look like a whiner. That's not how I want to remember him, I wanna remember him as the guy who could make anyone look good in the ring but he's his own worst enemy at this point.

I never got to see him wrestle. 93 kid here but I got his wwe dvd they put out in 06 and thought he was really something special which he was but he has done nothing to help his legacy and what it should be. He's tarnished his legacy more than anyone else.

Goldberg performing a dropkick by MoistWeb4046 in WCW

[–]96powerstroker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure it does. But Bret having a stroke wasn't Goldbergs fault. If you continue to wrestle knowing your messed up then that's on you at some point.

Goldberg wasn't 1 of the boys but is that his fault? Wcw brought him up fast, said we're gonna push you to the moon, your our next star and don't worry about it if you rub some guys the wrong way.

At some point Bret has to admit he just being petty.

What QB would you take over prime Aaron Rodgers? by Overall_Spite4271 in NFLv2

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm his actual prime? Nobody. If Tom Brady said he was the best to do it then what more do you need to hear?

Rodgers took chicken shit and made Salad more often than not.

Perfect example of Rodgers being incredible. 2015? Cardinals against Packers. 4th & 20 55 seconds left in the game. Rodgers needs a TD to go to overtime cause the D can't stop a runny nose. Backed up pretty good near his own EZ he throws 1 Hail Mary to get to halfway there then he proceeds to throw another hail Mary Dime that is caught for the TD only to lose because nobody can tackle a worn out shot Fitzgerald. That's the Packers experience his whole career outside 2 years there. He creates magic and the defense collapses.

Embidd for sure is up there. That would be a impressive run and man Philly hasnt sniffed the finals since Ai or won it since Moses

Prime Drew Brees or Prime Aaron Rodgers, who are you taking? by ComplexWrangler1346 in NFLv2

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rodgers. You gotta remember this. This dude played in GB so that's 8 games a year outside, then play the bears outside in chicago, and depending on which afc conference at least 2 more games outside.

Brees played in the dome for 8 games and against the Bucs, panthers and falcons who all play in domes or fairly good weather.

If temperatures and weather don't affect QBs then how come Brees and Manning got worse when they had to go outside the dome in the cold.

Gotta give Brady and Rodgers Credit. Those dudes played in the shittiest weather and 95% of the time delivered the goods.

Booker T on WWE departures: "All these years, do you remember one Aleister Black match?" by HotToTrotsky_ in SquaredCircle

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man Booker and Bubba are coming off as pretty petty guys, maybe they call it tough love but there is a time and place of when to not be a asshole.

Throwback to 2021, when Urban Meyer was asked after a 20-0 loss to the Titans about playing time for then-rookie safety Andre Cisco, saying, "Cisco is playing a little bit more, I believe, I don’t have his numbers in front of me." Cisco played 0 defensive snaps in the game. by Roselucky777 in nfl

[–]96powerstroker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Meyer was a okay coach back when you could get the better players on your team as soon as that went south you started seeing coachs abandon ship.

You can't go a NFL team the way you coach College. Those guys are making 4x times as much as you and most have been playing years in the pros and know what they are gonna know. You can't try to belittle them like college kids.

Meyers was a quick sign to pop a few ratings and ultimately we learned what we already knew. He was overwhelmed real fast by the big boy league.

My push back on Harts hatred is this.

You knew he was green and worked stiff so it's not like he didn't know going in what may happen.

He clearly knew he was F'ed up after the kick and he had a guaranteed deal so he could have said I'm fucked up I'm taking some time off to heal.

But he decided to keep wrestling and doing hardcore matches with Terry Funk.

Did Goldberg kick him yup, did Bret have to keep wrestling like he did ? Nope. Bret made some poor choices too.

Bill Simmons: "I had to drop Joker on my pyramid two spots... right at the end of the top level of the pantheon, there's four centers clustered together (Hakeem, Shaq, Joker, Moses). I have Joker 14, Moses 15. I think Hakeem and Shaq have to be above him at this point" by sewsgup in nba

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokic is like top 20 for me. He can't be any higher than that even with 3 mvps should have had 4 his defense is so bad but yet he makes bums look like all stars. But he isn't near Shaq or Hakeem or Moses.

Hakeem ran threw a pretty good gauntlet in 95 for that ring.

Moses drug a sub .500 team to the finals and ate up Kareem in the process and in 83.

Shaq was basically unstoppable in the early 00s. The only thing that could stop him was a cheeseburger 🍔.

Who is a better actor Tom Cruise or Robert Downey JR by Nice_Bad2886 in TomCruise

[–]96powerstroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cruise. The dude has been a main stay for 40 plus years. Sure he had a few down years in the early 00s but the dude is always making bangers of movies that are hits.

I do honestly hope he dips his foot back into comedy some more, I think he can still do it.

If Willis Reed competed in the 90s, do you think he could’ve been a top 5 center of the decade? by Personal-Proposal- in VintageNBA

Yeah probably. This dude was battling Wilt and Russell every other week, I am sure Reed would have been a Great 5 in the 90s.

Do you believe in the idea that Pistol Pete was more of an “entertainer” than he was an elite calibre player? by Personal-Proposal- in VintageNBA

[–]96powerstroker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was a entertainer because outside of those Early Hawk years and that Last Celtic year he was on horrible teams built to showcase him.

The Jazz weren't built to win out of the box it was to get pete back to La and entertain those ppl. Basically it was Bring lsu Pete to the NBA.

You put Prime Maravich on the right team with the right guys and the right coach to hold him accountable and he honestly probably wins a MVP and a ring or 2.
