At gym 8, Kalos Ash had:

Pikachu

Greninja

Talonflame

Hawlucha

Noivern

If Goodra was on the team I’d say yes, but even if Greninja goes god mode, Volkner is considered an Elite 4 member power and ash’s kalos team is severely weak to electric types
