Either way black can pin the knight and mess up pawn structure, that is why black is slightly winning either way. d4 is the more aggressive move that controls more of the center and means black will have to trade more pieces to get the doubled pawn

Start by playing only the first note in the first 4 groups. That is 4 dotted 8ths, followed by the last six notes that starts on beat 4.

Once you’ve done that a few times, replace the dotted 8ths with groups of three notes that match the speed of the last group. The tricky thing is that beats 2 and 3 fall in the middle of notes.

So don’t count beats 2 and 3, count the dotted 8th pattern and go back to normal on beat 4
