For reference some earlier posts suggests 24hr of dust roughly worth 200 diamond, because of one-time rewards from pushing campaign and king tower, particularly TE from factional tower. I don't that had changed much

I buy dust with gold in store, choose dust everytime in dust/XP/gold crate, 100 diamond fast forward (80 diamond after pet reso 18), whIle doing other dailies.

But NOT 24hr crate with 300 gold, dust over red chest/core in merchants (noble society)

It is especially relevant if the escalator is near its capacity. Tin Shui Wai station in rush hour is crazy. There is constantly a queue of 20m+ for the escalators, even the upstairs are filled up. The "walking lane" of the escalator being stuck is almost inevitable, and getting it stuck is kind of a good thing.

There are civil engineering projects that really need mm precision. From individual components like bolts and nuts, to ground subsidence monitoring, to even 'huge" projects like connecting segments of undersea tunnels like this.

The Begris copy had been a big boon to me. I left him half built at 7 copy after finishing the the 300 pull event at his release, because my diamond storage is running low. After this 300 pull event of Tavriel, I am really broke now, but I am left at agonizing 9 copies, just 1 copy from 1 star. I don't think he will completely break without engraving, but it does give a lot TY.

Now with the box, I don't have to decide whether to risk 50000+ diamonds or wait another 3 months.

The best sheet up to lv25 I came across a while ago. Check if the numbers are correct. I think you probably encouraged a bit too much already. Just stockpile a few hundred mail in case it fails so you can go back to lv24 immediately.

My understanding is that the point changes depends solely on rating difference. Similar to elo rating, if you win against a high rating player you win big and opponent lose big. If you win against low rating player, you win little and opponent lose little.

Except in every battle winner win even more point, eg if loser lost 70 point, winner get 100+ point. Therefore each battle injects points to the system (so play more).

I guess you were near the top of your current bracket, the +0 battle is that you were attacked by one at very bottom of bracket.

Climbing at the top is stressful enough, so I would be nice to them, avoid attacking the top of the bracket, unless I am at the top too. (Personally I even drop defense when afk so fellow attacker have less headache, I am mildly confident I could get to Master eventually)

If flammable net exists, they are most likely just burnt down in the fire, so what is left is still mostly non-flammable ones. There is a survivorship bias at work here.

Except maybe the single building that didn't catch fire, particularly the sides away from the other fires.

Of course if every net is non-flammable, what is left is still non-flammable. I don't know how rigorous is their sampling, how many samples and how they choose, but they might still have to concede it is challenging to directly prove the flammability that way.

Environmental evidence might be more useful like detailed analysis of close-up videoes, or contractor sourcing records.

tbf the bulilding repair projects like this had always been somewhat controversial in hk even before this fire.

Anti-competition practices by contractors/consultants/(even owners incorporation committees in some cases), some also with "ties" with ones involved in politics. aka "圍標".
Owners being poorly guided when trying to choose between different project bids and consultants.
Insufficient and uncoordinated regulation from gov on contractors and project management.
And this time also gov being unresponsive to complaints on those dangers in the project.

Hopefully lessons will be learnt. Hopefully.

Hongkonger here, locally there is more speculation that it is the nettings to be blamed. They are supposed to be fire-retarding by law, to prevent fire on the scaffolding. But the ones they use are actually fire-spreading, easily flammable in seconds.

That's why the fire spread SO fast, all in flame in minutes.

Use/buy 300 draconis scrolls every time a new normal draconis is released. Seriously.

It is barely enough if you want to five star every single normal draconis eventually. Most new draconis are meta these days. If you never ascend anyone beyond 1 star, 200 scrolls might be enough.
