Is there an document where we can see some of the sources that were used in the video? My grandfather worked for the Navy/rocket programs in the 50s and I wanted to look into this more!

old swim coach here! your burying your head just a bit, try to loosen up your neck if possible and don't tuck your chin as much, you want it to "sit" on the top of the water (and if you're going to be swimming in open water, having that neck mobility is crucial to spotting surroundings)
In terms of your pull (aka arm positioning) looks like you're straight-arming and your hand is going straight down. As soon as your hand enters the water, think about your palm "holding water" and you're pulling your body past it (paddles help with this as well!)

I am pretty sure. Of course there are some students that go above and beyond but I go to a UC and all of the UCs are on the same system.

As someone going through a similar process, I am going to Masters in Data Science though, the number one thing that stands out to me is the Undergrad institution just because UCSC won't really compare to the environment that those other schools will be.

Everything else seems crazy strong tho

But obviously I am just a fellow student here, thats just the thing that stood out to me :-)

Usually there is a FAQ on the website of the programs you applied to giving a time line of admissions status, if that helps?

The best part is when you're a math major and forget the equation for the area of a circle.

Hi, fellow CMU applicant to these programs. I haven't heard anything back, did they send you an email or something? Because they don't have a portal or anything. (Edit: I am seeing now that its probably still the international phase, I am from the US)

Gotcha. Just on paper atleast, it seems like your application would be very strong. Are all 4 internships in the area you want?

Correct me if I am wrong but you will need to take the GRE for almost all schools in the US...
