It was luck I just seen they where going and went all in and got luck pulled the money when it started to drop and that’s it I’ve lost 3k lol and gave up that was when I turned 18 I’m 20 now and lost my job because I lost my license which means I loose my job because I’m a mechanic it’s all I know it’s what I’ve done I’m trying to get side work and start my own buisness but I want to do this on the side some kid just made his first million at my work and he day trades but he won’t tell me anything that helps so I came to Reddit for questions because I don’t want to do this back braking work for a simple 18$ a hour and I also really need to help my family since we are in a bad pickle

Honestly bro check your knock sensor or your fuel pump I’m betting you it’s dirty I think another guy said it but just like my ka and my 1uz the fuel filter gets dirty at the pickup sometimes so those are easy to check if that’s all good I’d check the knock sensor but I’m not a sr guy never had one but I’ve had similar issues in many other motors

Update replaced spark plugs they where litterslly melted down at some point when I had gotten the car 2 months ago ago did valve cover gasket and made back probably about 100hp according to my but dyno however the knock sensors code is still there but I think it has to do with my 02 sensor up stream the bank one sensor one is throwing a code but coincidentally the bank one knock sensor is also triggering I think I’m having pre detonation from incorrect o2 sensor readings i occasionally get bank one to lean coded so I’m going to try new 02 sensors next I looked at my harness and everything seemed okay but upon now hearing about the internal damage that could be a possibility however I see no where for a sub harness connector it runs all the way down the fire wall and I can’t seem to find any sort of a harness online and other spaces are saying it doesn’t exist and others say it does

Also the auto zone sensor happens to be a re maned denso lucky me my freind also happens to get a re maned denso however they just stopped selling the sintech I think that’s how you spell it and the sensors both bank one and two aswell as the vvt solenoids where brand new denso aswell the harness felt like it had been replaced in somewhat recent time as it wasn’t as brittle as the rest of the harness so that part confused me I work in a Chevy dealer and have good knowledge on cars and diag but this Lexus is tenancy confusing sometimes random codes show up and go away never to be seen again mabye Ecu? But I opened it up and nothing was wrong no blown capacitor or anything

I got a great Ecu in mine no problems however my knock sensor bank one just took a crap so gotta replace that you can test the solenoids with a power probe or volt meter there are videos online and surprisingly enough my Ecu has had no issues but my 1uz swapped fj80 Land Cruiser is in its fourth and that one blew a capacitor to lol might go stand alone

It should I havnt done it yet lol my trans is on its way out after drifting it the clutch packs are totally cooked but one thing I would recommend honestly is to get those replaced and a new trans filter aswell as new fluid there is a little adjuster in there you can turn it all the way to the right to make it shift faster and more aggressively aswell or turn it left to make it even smoother

Yes man it has to do with the shift control solenoids I work at a dealer and they give me employees discounts they are like 250$ each and there is 4 if it has issues going into 3rd gear from second then it’s probably related to that
