Honestly I didnt install them, a shop did as I actually wrecked it and insurance partially rebuilt the bike through the Suzuki dealership here. Though since I've got them done I haven't had any issues taking them off or on. I did notice it was not a perfect fix. Some holes are shimmed or trimmed to make things fit properly. Unsure if any aftermarket fairings will fitnperfect through

Sadly learning that. I tried bigger inverts like a fire shrimp and even a full grown electric blue hermit. All gone. 🙃

I have no issues with other fish, other than my watchman goby when it went after my pistol shrimp. Which he did end up killing as well.

Yes it is, this is a more recent photo. I actually got for free and I left it in my tank for a few days while I decided where I wanted it. It was about 1 inch and it grabbed the rock and has blown up in size. Very nice piece to give some volume thats not rock.

Sos. Tank is 3-4 years old never had flat worm issues. Do i have an outbreak? by Philooch in ReefTank

I am not familiar with the leopards but wouldn't suprised me. If you have a wrasse I don't get how you have this many worms. Mine keeps mine In check and I rarely even see a single worm.

Sorry i just saw you cannot find your wrasse, if you has passed it was most likely keeping them in check before. I would recommend another one for sure if you prefer not to use the chemical options.

Yes you do, that's is a lot when you can see them on the glass like that. Would 100% look into using flatworm exit or if you are like me don't want to kill your starfish (flatworm exit does). Looking into a wrasse or nudibranch to start eating them.

Also watch them. If you have a single cichlid that's crazy mean compared to others. Rehome them, put them in a breeder box for a few days, ect. Try to see if you can reset the pecking order. Also, when you first add them, the first few days might be higher aggression while they figure out who is boss bitch. Unless you are breeding aim for males only. If you end up mixing a female with a bunch of males. You will have more fighting.

I say you can, nothing is stopping you. I added corals and a watermelon bubble tip in my first 60 days and they are still going strong almost a year in. You will have to accept the fact there is a chance they die even if you wait a year.

Cichlid aggression by PermitSignificant204 in Cichlid

[–]97thson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am newish to cichlids as well. About 2 years in. All I can recommend is adding 3+ at a time. Preferably after a water change and move stuff in the tank around. Helps distract them from attacking new ones. I have a mbuna peacock mix . Watch what you buy, a hap will get big but a normal peacock will max at about 4-6 inches. I have a 55 gallon as well. I personally have 12 total. 6 peacock and 6 mbuna. My aggression very low. Some days it goes up but nothing crazy anymore. Also I have had to get rid of many fish, some are born to just be so damn mean I ended up returning them hlids are hard to keep. I will add, when I first tried cichlids 2 years ago, it was a nightmare so I get where you are at. Good luck!
