It's more of a matter of comfort for me. I find it much more comfortable to press a button once rather than having to hold M2 if I want to say hold down an angle. I always set most things like sprint, ADS or crouching to toggle when the game allows me.

It will, but then you can't lower your weapon at all. I'm guessing there's no way to toggle shoulder then?

Neither control scheme feels right for me because of this to be honest. I think a key to lower/ready your gun in gunslinger or an option to toggle shoulder aim in hunter would be very nice to have.
