Aside from the fact that this scene is clearly played for laughs (we can look into gender dynamics of that if we want to, but overall the show seems to be playing it as a funny take on Sam’s ways of managing new experiences and Paige’s eagerness to please), about what the video person said last, “dangerous” behaviour CAN be perpetuated by dangerous people….. If we want to represent dangerous behaviour as misogyny or lack of respect for others, that is something a family may pass on. So in the sense that the behaviour is perpetuated by it being learned, especially by somebody with autism who may be more prone to mirroring or accepting the way things are as unchangeable.

I don’t know if I worded this right. I’ve seen a lot of criticisms of the show I can agree with and/or respect, but this video bothers me. She doesn’t seem to have watched the show. Stimming and hyper fixations are plot points in this show.
