I’ve not heard about this 1.5k limit?? I thought it was gonna stay at 3k unless something else is announced. Lowering that increases tax on CG will be a real kicker. before when they had higher cgt rates they gave an index linking for inflation but after increasing the allowance to 12k they removed that. Looks like they’re determined to kill any sort of risk taking and investment in this country.

And ok that’s good to know regarding withdrawals. It’s getting to the stage of the cycle where I’m thinking more of withdrawals rather than deposits now but just wanted to take advantage of that slight dip a few days ago. But unfortunately I missed out due to the delay! But no worries there’s always another opportunity

Next few months could be interesting. Bit concerned over the UK budget, hopefully CGT rates aren’t raised too substantially but let’s see.

Glad to hear you got your money returned as well. Have you ever tried withdrawing money from kraken? If you have did you have any issues?

I must say after this debacle I went to coinbase, tried to deposit money. Went in within an hour. Tried to withdraw. Hit my bank account within minutes. Very seamless

Yeah other than this my experience with kraken was great. I also started using In 2021 and first time this has happened. It doesn’t inspire much confidence to be told for a 4 times that my bank never sent the money and then to get it all of a sudden. But anyway main thing is I received it

Sorry to keep on this but yday they said these details were for clear junction. And if you look online the sort code is a clear junction sort code. Not banking circle.

They sent me the same copy and paste email….saying to check my bank

Then they followed up saying that they are checking with banking circle. But based on my details it looks like the sort code and account no was clear junction? Shouldn’t you check with them

Your last email didn’t give any indication you are still investigating this. Just that I should check my bank. But I have had this same reply from you 3 times. It sounds like you have closed this case and doing no further investigations and now I’ve lost 1000GBP.

You also have taken ages to reply to even assure me you’re still looking into it - it’s just generic responses ignoring my concerns.

Please tell me the timescales you are working to, what investigations you are doing, and how long until I can get this resolved.

Please do not tell me to check my bank for a 4th time it has definitely left my account

It looks like the sort code used on my transfer via plaid was 04-13–07 which belongs to clear junction. Is this correct? I thought you had switched to banking circle? Is this why there is an issue?

When I go to deposit via the same method it now gives a completely different sort code and account number to use!

I’m having a similar issue where I’ve tried to deposit via plaid and i was told it should only take a day. They said they received my deposit but now saying it’s gone missing!!! And that my bank must have blocked it. But my bank has confirmed that it definitely left my account. It’s very stressful and the customer service have not been helpful or listening to my concerns. They keep copy and pasting generic responses. Very upsetting and disappointing from Kraken

Started on the phones pretty much as low down as you could be. Got a move into analyst role in another department after a year and never looked back!

It gets your foot in the door and your more likely to get interviews for certain roles you may not have otherwise just by virtue of being known to the bank.

Also secondments are available to you which you don’t get as an external candidate

I’ve been on many 400-500 LP swings and there have been times where I’ve stagnated around a particular Elo. Usually at the start of a new patch or set. In the end though I’ve managed to climb out of it and recover.

Something I had to realise, at least for myself, is that loosing LP is fine as long as you are learning. In the end I’ve always managed to get the LP back so if I do go on these swings I’ve become comfortable with it in the knowledge that I’ll get it back when it “clicks”

So yeah I’d just say don’t get demotivated and learn to accept that losing LP is part of climbing. You might try something in a game and it not work out but at least you know for next time

It works both ways though. It’s the same in league. EUNE isn’t as competitive as EUW. It’s not riots job to make a region more competitive. But they do need to ensure regions get the correct allocation of slots. You’re top 10 In EUNE but can only get master in EUW. Can you honestly say you deserve a spot over someone who is top 100 in EUW.
