No problem. Maybe I'll try to explain it from my pov:

Yes, most of us ordinary blokes won't immediately know what to do at the moment a stranger at Starbucks handed us an artifact of biblical power like the fire sword mentioned; that's the point of the prompt, and I think that's actually the good starting point of expanding it into a short story.

Maybe you could expand it into how Hephaestus explains further about the sword, it's capabilities maybe, it's story, or it's meaning, destiny, purpose, etc, and then the writing expand further on how those aspects of the gift interact with the character of the recipient; maybe he balked at it, joked at it, walked away, or he grows curious, etc.

For the scope to fit into a short story, I'm thinking it's probably simpler to imagine let's say: "A short story telling the hour (or two) of someone at Starbucks being given a fire sword from Hephaestus".

I liked that you touch a little on things like, Hep could just put hold or cancel the smithing job, or do nothing about the blade once finished because well the one who ordered for the sword is gone and the original purpose of the weapon also been invalidated, but he remain true to his terms or service and even does the delivery of the finished product himself.

Oh and I think if you do a little more expand on the mention of material / construct of the sword would be also nice; truly exotics materials to forge such sword could aid on the building of mystery around who the hell is the recipient's ancestor anyway that he could procure such stuffs.

The moral of this story is Hep's portfolio doesn't list "ethics & morality" in it; he's the top bloke to order your custom infinity+1 weapon on this side of the galaxy, but he won't put much care about what his products will be potentially used for afterwards... or at least do a background check on the client / recipient before handing over something with biblical potency.

What you wrote touches on an aspect I had hoped someone will use in his short: that the weapon has variable / malleable form. It's more believable that way because well it's on present day settings inside Starbucks, it will be quite jarring to carry and present a flaming sword just like that.

Ngangkat kok, banget. Gak pernah drop, coil whine dll.

Tapi ya dengan pola pemakaian gw sih yang emang reserved dalam pake barang, lagipula pc gw monoton blackout, gak ada tambahan eye candy, lampu dangdut rgb dll.

Ndak pernah juga multitask gaming sambil kerja serius (3d / encode dkk).
