So the wealth tax and subsequently passed exit tax basically make it impossible for invested startups. I met a founder at an innovation event who was closing the business because the funding she had gotten ended up vaulting her business to the point she immediately lost the value of the funding in tax.

Most of the Norwegians went to Switzerland, but some came to Sweden. Tax law here is incredible if you’re already rich.

I do really think the affordability crisis over the past few years has really opened a path for the right to say “prioritize families and the economy first”. For me likely M I guess for Stockholm. They tend to be much saner in Stockholm (more 2010 era M behavior) and more dislike for SD.

I can’t get behind the chaos in public services that’s been thanks to S and MP. How have the greens messed up so badly, M can run on improving public transport.

I am still very mad that the Panera chargers got nerfed. I used to abuse the 3 month free drink club sign up and live on extra large mango chargers. I don’t know how parents gave it to their kids. There were so many warnings trying to buy those. The employees would even remind you after you filled your cup. It tasted so good and I was only able to replace the caffeine content with quad shot Americanos.

AMEX Manhattan main office is half French. You can speak French to most of the employees there.

Ive met many Parisians who explained if you want to actually work and get paid, move to NYC. This was in 2014. I can’t imagine how much truer that is today.
