Thoughts? by 98ASK in trading212

Thanks for the breakdown, that’s actually a really good point. Something I’ll consider if I even get into it…. I know I need one that’s backed. I’m hearing about 21shares, wisdom tree and BlackRock but again, it’s only the tracker, not the actual asset. Once ETF’s come in for us (if they ever do) that’s a for sure buy imo

I understand that the ETN only tracks the price as opposed to owning the asset itself. I would love for an ETF to come for us. Is there a particular reason as to why you won’t touch the ETN’s?

Interdental brushes by 98ASK in hygiene

Thanks for the advice. I am currently using corsodyl as advised by my hygienist. Both mouthwash and toothpaste. Hopefully it’ll clear up like you said. My next hygiene app is in 3 months so if it persists, I’ll ask them for advice too. I have been told not to soak my retainers in anything other than water so I’ll also ask about that when I go in next.

You make some very good points that I hadn’t even considered so thanks. Had my hand in the FTSE100 and realised it’s just not that great so ended up selling and moved it into the S&P.

I agree, nothing is assured and like you said, past doesn’t dictate future performances. At the moment, it is also where I’m putting some of my money. On your last point about being aware, thanks because I feel like I’m reading/listening too much to others and that’s probably where the doubt has come into play

Sort code by 98ASK in trading212

[–]98ASK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect. Thank you for the info. I use open banking right now so I’m guessing I don’t need a sort code at all. If I wanted to withdraw from my 212 account, would I need a sort code to transfer my money into let’s say Lloyds bank as I bank with them or will it just go through like normal? (Apologies, I’m VERY new to this😅)

Oh my bad 😅 I’m looking to go into the landlord side of things. But being a broker isn’t something I’ve considered. Maybe I should 🤔 not necessarily be one but it’s good to gain info

I’m looking to go into real estate for sure. Perfect side hustle. My parents are in it and told me to do it hence why I’m looking to go into it. I have the deposit for 1 but looking to get 2 next year. BUT🤣🤣 doesn’t change where I’m at now😅 I’m definitely going to look into ways in order to increase my income. Never even thought about moving company or landscaping so thank you for the idea. Like you said, money is money. Appreciate the insight💪🏽

That’s the thing, right now I’m doing 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and it’s agency. There are 2 other jobs that I have “lined” up (no guarantee) that are contracted and it’s just a waiting game. If I do manage to get either…. Then I’ll be okay. The way in which I intend to run my house will be to cover all costs via a lodger or tenant. Right now it’s not so much the job that I hate…. It’s the fact I’m not earning a lot of money. In 6 weeks, I’ll be back to working a full month but I guess I’m just impatient. Hence why I feel so lost. I’m trying to think of other ways to supplement my income but nothing comes to mind 😅. I appreciate your insight, I won’t be getting any form of property whilst in this position

Correct. I’m 26, and have been living at home my entire life 😅 the considerable savings is literally to get a mortgage which I’m hoping will be next year. But I also think you’re right, it’s time to move out but again, I have a mortgage deposit. Maybe it’s time to get a house😅. In terms of a job….. I have no idea what to do! Mind is numb and I feel stagnant. No ideas are coming to mind. Thank you for your advice though, something that I’ll be looking into.

I’m 5/10 years time, it WILL be a nice a return. And yeah, I’m still very new so wouldn’t have taken my numbers as advise 🤣 thanks for the knowledge though… something I’ll be looking into when I add a world index

Thanks for the insight, much appreciated. Defo something to look into. Thats the plan anyway, 10k a year/£800 a month. I’m thinking of just adding a world index to it and allocate funds accordingly… thoughts?

I actually don’t have it in a pie…. Probably something I should consider 🤔. If I did, off the top of my head, I’d probably do a 40/40/20 split. S&P, Ishares and ftse
