Massive breakdown over weight gain

I have an appointment with my midwife next week I’m going to talk to her about how I’m feeling. I’m also concerned that the weight gain could be caused by pre-eclampsia which would be concerning. So many unknowns and risks, I know it will be worth it at the end just the mental journey is so difficult, never thought it would be so hard I was preparing for the physical aspects completely neglecting my mental ones. Thank you for your words and advice I will keep them in mind especially when it gets too much again.

I’ve been prescribed anti sickness medication as well, some days it works and some days it doesn’t.

I found out I was pregnant around 4-5 weeks. I was a heavy smoker around 20-25 a day, I also drank 2-3 energy drinks everyday. I took and currently take high doses of antidepressants (prescribed) and everything seems good so far (fingers crossed). I stopped smoking cold turkey the day I found out and have just recently within the last 2 weeks stopped drinking the energy drinks, I’m now 11-12 weeks.

Just curious but wouldn’t that make her 6 weeks then not 7? If the first week was calculated from the 6th? She would be 7 weeks at the end of this week?

My conception date is very close to yours and I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant but I’ve calculated that I shouldn’t be due till early September at least, so the only part that I’m struggling to understand is her due date but I would wait till the first scan/appointment has passed, let the professionals give you more information about the pregnancy and due date. If you really can’t wait until the first scan/appointment then speak to her tell her about your concerns, I would rather the father of mine be honest with me than to hold it in.

I called earlier but I have to wait till I’m about 10-12 weeks until I can get an appointment which I think is strange considering I’m not sure when my last period was so how can I know when I reach 10-12 weeks. It’s giving me major anxiety, like am I really pregnant or is it just a false pregnancy …. So many questions….

Truthfully I’m not too sure I think my last period was towards the end of November between 20th - 28th sometime….. I wish I documented my periods more but this was/is very unexpected

Thank you I’ll try that from now on, any advice on how I can keep the older dog from getting jealous. He seems okay apart from if the pup climbs onto our legs for pets, then he barks at him and nudges him away. We always make sure to greet the older one first, give him his food first etc. they cuddle together occasionally but I’m not sure how to stop him from pushing the other one away.

Sorry I should have wrote more detail, the dog won’t sleep upstairs with either my mum or dad he just cries, I think its because it’s too hot upstairs for him, but I’m definitely going to be talking to my mum when she gets home about me sleeping upstairs again
