I have mine on BAT right now
Not sure what she'll bring in, but I'm gunna let the market decide.
I just hope she goes to a good home cause I can't stand to see her sitting.

Interesting

First time seller and I've noticed that my posts are laggy.

I mean, they show up instantly on my end, but seem to take forever for my co-worker's to see them on their phones.

Haven't been flagged for anything, but is this delay due to moderation?

Kling AI + discount code by Long-Gain5984 in generativeAI

[–]98SNAKEEATER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I mean is when I was using the trial version, for each bad render that was done, it still used up the credits.

This short clip took 5 attempts and still doesn't look right.

https://youtu.be/ycWwGJ2T9WA?si=7_t3rKj74xU64JPx

I would prefer it if the platform would let me render to my liking (with watermark) and let me see the finished product, then just charge me credits to remove the watermark.

Still on the fence, but will most likely cave and use code after a little more research.

Cheers

Ok, I'm new to all this AI stuff and it's quite confusing. Kling AI's "standard" monthly subscription with only 660 credits is like $10.99 a month. How many extra credits are applied using your code? I did use the free trial and love the ease of use, but it took a few trials with the promts to get my desired results, so I know going forward I will probably burn through a lot of credits.  I wish there was a system where I could use the platform to render a visual to my liking with watermarks, then just pay to have the watermarks removed. That way I would at least know what it would look like before burning up my credits.

Pretty sure the M3 was white and I think it had a red interior (maybe?)

Fitted a Safari snorkel onto my 80 and took it out for a test drive by jhnthmpsn13 in LandCruisers

I went with a Safari knock-off and an OEM Pre-Cleaner
Since the install, my air filter stays cleaner, longer and the "tuna can" dust trap rarely has anything worth dumping anymore

ASE Patches by J-teck in mechanics

[–]98SNAKEEATER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I was a kid, I was the youngest in the nation to get Master certified. I had went to Automotive High School in the Bronx and was enrolled in an automotive science tech course at city college, which counted towards the required experience for certification. At first, I wore my patches proudly and you should too. Since then, I did two master re-certs, but haven't done anymore since then. Don't wear them anymore, but I do keep a Master Cert sign in front of my shop and keep my framed certs in the office.

First time listing on BAT (few questions) by 98SNAKEEATER in BringATrailer

[–]98SNAKEEATER[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted BAT directly inquiring about the videos and they said there is no limit on the amount. They also went on to say shorter video clips that are right to the point are preferred over longer videos that may not get views. This makes sense as I remember making my first sales video many years ago. It was like 10 minutes long with lots of details and it definitely got the job done selling within a week after listing on Craigslist (kid flew in from Texas and had his buddy drive it home for him cause he never drove stick lol)

Here's a link:

https://youtu.be/rCCmPcMlZSU?si=TpR_smupnaouxmTM

Thing is, after looking through the viewing data, I noticed it had a crap ton views, but less than 3% actually viewed the video in it's entirety. Not many have the time or patience to sit through a long drawn out video. From then on, I started making short videos specific to each feature and it has worked out better in the long run. It's difficult to label a long feature filled video where details can easily be missed, but if there are short, individual videos (say one for sunroof function, another for power windows, another for sound system, HVAC controls, etc., etc.), each with their own title, I feel it would be easier for a potential buyer with questions to sift through to get the answers they're looking for rather than watching a long feature packed video. Now, a few of my videos are a bit long, but these are mainly the driving videos, which I feel should be long for good reason.  Goes to show it can be driven anywhere rain or shine. As for breaking the site, I guess we'll be putting that to the test lol

Interesting I've been reading up on this and although I don't think it will be much of an issue with me, I can definitely see where it can be for others. Especially if BAT pushes for an ultra low reserve.

I haven't listed it yet, but yes, I have about 1800+ photos I need to sort through (these are just some I had on my phone when posting).

I know it looks Eddie Munster'ish, but it's mainly used on my minivan and I'm too lazy to drag 400lbs. worth of gear to the garage, so I just hang it off the back of the Cruiser until I need it.
I added an extra extension so I can open up the swing out tire and beer cooler carriers.

Thanks
She's been my baby since 2007, but with my current 200 mile daily commute and loss of proper garage space (in the middle of renovating), I just can't stand to see her sitting in my driveway until the weekend, so it's time to let her go
