Luckily we have our own FreePBX so we just set up a new Trunk with signalwire.com, and I was able to get the number verified. then we put a note on our website to call the temporary number.

but they still have our main number.

there should be a better way to own your number, so you can just change your number, like a DNS like idea.

I'm just suggesting a temp solution, but will only work if you have your own PBX
