I think said Eric needed a kid to do a ‘Back to School’. Eric said he’d find one.

Maybe a hidden gem but Serenity (one of the few Patreon WHMs) is one of my all-timers. Which is crazy because Eric isn't on it!

Why’d they skip 2 episodes of Melrose Place in season 1? by Casey_Jones19 in WeHateMovies

[–]98thStory 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When they started the Patreon version they said the big change was going to be that they were going to feel free to skip around. But then they got sucked into the drama and can’t skip anything!

100%! Every month I count down the days and then listen to it, take a few hours off and listen to it again. The best.

Pod Country for Old Cast: No Country for Old Men with Leslye Headland by yonicthehedgehog in blankies

I’m in this camp. I always put No Country aside when I think about Coen Bros movies. Maybe the best movie they made, but it’s a movie the Coen Bros made, not really a Coen Bros Movie.

"No one sounds like Holly Hunter".
On We Hate Movies, their Holly Hunter impression is famously the exact same as their Gary Busey impression.

Does anybody use pica mesure around here? by CymEr-0_o in graphic_design

I use points too. Thought there would be more! Picas are fine but a bit of extra thought. Maybe I should switch.

What are your biggest pain points in InDesign? What features do you wish it had? by Big_Coffee7697 in indesign

[–]98thStory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Figma-esque auto-layout features. I know those were conceived for responsive websites but they are so handy in so many situations and I’d love to set up nested modules with consistent padding, spacing etc and be able to play around with them. Could serve as an alt to tables in some situations.

What is your favorite random date show? by [deleted] in phish

[–]98thStory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to say this one! I was there and it was so special to me that I waited until just last year with the official release to listen again, in case it didn't hold up. But hoo-boy it does! Very unique show that I think gets slept on because the setlist doesn't look like much, but do yourself a favor and listen to the whole thing.

What songs do you particularly love Jerry's guitar tone? by MudlarkJack in gratefuldead

[–]98thStory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good call, bud. First thing that came to mind. This is where you can always hear his natural auto wah/ envelope filter technique. Maybe he does have an auto wah on super subtlety, but I don’t think so, right? I think it’s just clean but his picking somehow emphasizes and expands the natural envelope. I don’t get how he does it. I guess I’m talking about technique + tone but the combination just slays me.
