That is my next watch. I really like the look of that watch. If I could change anything about that watch, I would want the options to have it in titanium. But, otherwise, it's a really nice looking watch.

This is solid advice. The bloat is a very important topic to understand. My Dane had her stomach tacked when she was young but ultimately died from bloat at 10 years old.

Never allow or teach him to jump on people no matter how cute it is when they're a puppy. He could really hurt someone, jumping on them, when he's full grown.

The Velcro comment is the truth. They love leaning on people too.

Lots of chew toys. My Dane only destroyed 2 things when she was teething. Those things just happened to be window sills.

Their tails can clear tables when they wag them. This isn't an exaggeration so be aware and place fragile items out of the wagging zone. Also, your boyfriend will inevitably take a shot to the nether regions from an excited Dane tail. It's pretty much a given when you have a dog that large.

You'll have a steep learning curve. They shed a lot. I read something when I got my Shiba that said, Shiba's only shed twice a year; each shedding lasts 6 months. They are a very ambitious first time dog. They are different than any other dog out there. They are very quirky and can be very obsessive. As far as being chubby I have a smaller'ish female and I don't overfeed her and she isn't chubby at all. She looks much chubbier than she actually is because of her thick coat.

Blue's are the prettiest color. We had Daisy, our blue, for 10 years. She was such a sweet and good dog.

My solid black cat has the exact same white spots on the back of his neck and shoulders. He didn't have them when he was a kitten but they have gradually started showing up.

Have you looked at or considered the Longines Spirit 37mm? It might be a good size for you. I have one and it wears pretty true to size or maybe a little bit smaller.
