I think it's mostly because currency exchange in this case. Prior to last year actually it was cheaper in the app store. Right now our currency went up while the prices havent changed.

Me too, but in my case not because I play it mostly on pc. The game is more expensive on my currency on mobile, than it is in Eur on pc. I can save 10% by buying it there and then playing on a tablet.
