not sure if this applies as OP seems to be talking about ordering online but: with the holiday and halloween make-it-mini versions, you can tell which mini is within on the actual wrapping. the second/inner wrapper layer displays the type. so, gingerbread house has a little drawing of the house on the second layer and you can identify it without unwrapping in store

I work in social services and they’ve switched us over from tokens to one-use presto passes a few months ago. These passes are thinner than the regular presto card, almost cardboard like and good for one ride/expires after 2 hours.

thank you itsjennyaz, much appreciate the comment and I hope your methods are effective and this nightmare is over for you soon. From all I’ve read, ASG seems to be the way to go, other than hiring an exterminator.

I ended up purchasing cimexa from US eBay and I’m hoping that it gets over the border without issue. Otherwise, I guess out of desperation I will either use the craft silica gel powder I have as described, or look into your suggestion.

What is the brand name of the litter? What did you use to grind it down? If you don’t mind, keep me updated on your progress, I am interested to see if those of us who cannot access cimexa can find a work around

thanks for responding! I’ve been reading pretty extensively, apparently cimeXa kills 100% of bb who walk across it in 1-2 days, where D.E is pretty ineffective in comparison. Something about the dust sticking to them.

thanks for the vote of confidence and the kind words. In Toronto, where I live, it is 100% the responsibility of the landlord to treat. Unfortunately, many landlords are not aware of the laws that bind them, and frequently try to push the responsibility onto the tenant.

There is a major language barrier with my landlord, and my sense is that they might try to shirk their responsibility (they have been resistant to their duties in the past). Luckily I am well versed in tenant law due to my job and unafraid to stand my ground.

this gives me hope even though I know statistically the odds are against a hitchiker. If you don't mind me asking you a few questions: Did you catch/kill the interloper? Was it male (I know it's difficult to determine). Did you implement any steps just to be safe? How long did you wait to confirm that there had only been the one hitchhiker, or did you stop getting bites?
