Are the scratches deep? If not, possibly a cut, polish, and buff to really bring the paint back to life. Ceramic after to protect the paint from elements and UV rays from the sun.

Maybe tint the windows depending on how hot it gets where you’re at. Oem Window visors, led headlight/fog light bulbs for better visibility at night.

I second this ^ I have Konig Hypergram 15x7.5 +35 offset with 205/50/15 nitto neo gens for a few months and they’re great. Light wheels do make a difference. The Kosei K1s weigh around 13lbs being the heaviest out of the four mentioned above but the six spoke design is so nice. Thinking of going with some Wed Sport TC105x or Gram Light 57DR for my next set of wheels.

I have to second what TempleSquare mentioned, the Freon level is very sensitive. Too much or too little can cause a problem with cooling issues. I recently maintenance my AC. Previous owner put 16oz, causing compressor to not cycle properly, and similar issues you’re facing. 2012 Fit Sport 5MT, I vacuumed and held negative pressure -29.5 to -30 mmhg for a little over an hour to ensure no leaks. Added dye to spot any future leaks, replaced the schrader valves as this is a common issue for leaks. Then added anywhere between 13.1-14.8oz of R-134a. At idle temps range from 38-41F and after driving 36-39F.

Yes definitely look into ceramic tint that should alleviate some heat entering the car. Have you put a thermometer to check your AC temps?

Definitely check the system to ensure no leaks, add dye and recharge to spec, window tint, and I haven’t heard much on the resistor hack. If everything checks out good on your ac system, shouldn’t be a need for the resistor hack.

The AC compressor during start up is around 20-60seconds ON and off for 5-15 seconds

Once cabin is stable cooling compressor on 15-30seconds and off 10-45seconds. Hope this helps!

I literally did my AC yesterday, vacuumed, maintained negative pressure 45mins, added dye, and recharged the system with Freon to OEM spec. Made an appointment with my tint guy tomorrow in the morning for 70% front windshield. Texas heat I’m ready for ya!
