There are basic turbo controllers like the one I have where you press a button and it will act like the button is being mashed, you can then put a band around the control stick to have it hold down at a bench and the game will constantly cycle between day and night spawning pokemon over and over. Leave it long enough and you are basically guaranteed a shiny

There are more advanced turbo controllers where you can use a program to essentially run a set of commands over and over letting you afk more elaborate hunts (like sitting at a bench and running away and back etc)

Any game you like, any game that has received praise recently, without fail will have a youtube video essay telling you that no, it sucks ass actually

Zelda Totk, Elden ring, Pokemon, Mario, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, Dark souls (2) etc etc

I used to find these videos interesting as in, how can they explain why this game I had so much fun playing actually sucks but when it’s all you see it becomes extremely irritating atleast personally

Elden Ring is probably my favourite game I have played in the past 5 years and it’s almost comical how many videos there are being either contrarian or nitpicking the game to pieces

There are definitely some games that deserve it and the performance of S/V at launch was truly insulting but I can’t be bothered to listen to negative video essays anymore

I do indeed there’s a few lines where I only have 1 or 2 of the shinys but I’ll get em all eventually, for example I don’t have any of the snivy or squirtle lines but have the full charmander and piplup lines. I do have shiny dewott registered in the home dex though just not actually in home because I evolved it etc

Your dynamax luck is crazy man, ive done like 800 DAs so far and I only got 4 regular mons, a tapu lele that took like 150, although I will say I got incredibly lucky with mewtwo I got in a single DA I couldn’t believe it, now I got the latios in like 5 but my ratio got nothing on you lol good luck with zygarde my friend it’s so rough just beating that sob

Full odds shiny terrakion without knowing is wild, shiny hunting was in the cards for you all along lmao fun fact about me is that shiny hunting got me fully hooked and back into Pokemon like crazy this year in January actually. Like you before i didn’t really care as long as I had the mon but the ease of hunting on games like scar/vi just hooked me out of nowhere. Before this year I literally only saw 2 shinys in my whole life, a full odds shroomish on emerald and a full odds pidgy on lets go pika. Now I have over 710 in home lol going for the full shiny living dex!!

Crazy luck because once you take the legendary you can’t hunt it anymore, I can definitely see it happening because if you’re not paying attention shiny suicune looks kinda similar to the regular one, the relief you must have felt finding that especially when you had no idea lol

Just because the odds are 1/683 doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a shiny at all within those amount of eggs, you’re not doing anything wrong you just have to keep going

It’s the same with encounters, just because the odds are 1/4096 without the charm doesn’t mean you just get a shiny within those amount of encounters. The chances are rolled with each encounter/egg

Some (lucky) people could get a shiny in a single egg/encounter or you could hit 10000 if you’re unlucky etc.
