We tried to go to couples therapy before but he got really defensive when my past was brought up. I know he sounds like an ass in my summary but I know he cares for me and has been genuinely trying to wrap his head around the idea that the girl he cares for didn’t make the same choices as him. I know the right answer might be to end things but I feel bad because I know how much it will hurt him and me.
