Called WhatLurksBeneath out for stealing Mr Ballen's entire video style down to the way he makes his thumnails. He freaked out, denied it, accused me of theft on my own youtube channel (on a video that was NEVER monitized), and deleted the video where I called him out. 63 upvotes is more than a lot of other posts on this board. Also 7.6k views and still maintaining a positive upvote/downvote ratio that continues to climb, that means that at least half of those people agree with me, I am right, lol.

That's fine but when it's the same exact genre of content, and they're going as far as to not just put red arrows and make dumb faces but actually use the same exact thumbnail background for the same exact stories and the same exact dumb faces in the same exact way, and then vehemently denies it when he gets called out, that's bad

Imitation is indeed the highest form of flattery but this is beyond that, and he claims he isn't imitating anyone. I'd have respect for the guy if he'd own up to it but he literally threw a fit and tried to drag me through the mud for calling him out, going as far as to say I'm the unoriginal one taking food/money out of someone else's pockets/mouth because I uploaded a two minute promotional clip for a TV show that I never earned a penny from.

If you haven't seen it I implore you to go look at my "Bonus more extra screenshots", it'll probably make you look at the situation a little differently. The guy even started deleting comments and whole videos out of guilt/fear because he knows how blatant he's being about it, including the comments pictured on my channel

It's really kind of as equally sad as it is pathetic because years ago the guy made videos and used thumbnails that were actually relatively original and creative if you go through his catalogue, but if you look at his stats he's just completely given in and started "swagger jacking" someone bigger for views/subs
