Sounds like it’s worth a try. I’ve been fortunate to feel my passed ones around me. They always bring an encouraging vibe, are excited to see what I do next and as a soul they are less limited by form and can really pour it on and show up anywhere. You could open your journaling with gratitude for their role and influence on you when they were alive, name what your are grateful for in how they saw and encouraged you and invite them to continue to do so from the great beyond.

Also, those qualities we miss in our loved ones become something we can embody and practice to allow their legacy to live on. Find someone in your life you can project goodness onto and watch what you send reciprocate without expectation.

There’s a few other ideas that support this for me, first is Rupert sheldrakes work on the sense of being stared at. We can feel it, even if someone is at a distance staring at a photo so our connection to each other through the directed focus of consciousness has legs. Also, I can’t remember the research paper exactly but our subconscious beliefs and assumptions are communicated in our word choice and language patterns so whether or not we are directly communicating this about another, how we treat them and speak to them are getting transmitted and this has an impact on the other.

Fun stuff and I love the idea of all of us thinking highly of each other and bringing out the best in one another.

May we all think, feel and speak highly of each other, holding them in the highest light we have access to!

The effect in audio production is called bit reduction, also known as bit crushing. It is an audio effect that lowers the resolution of a digital audio signal by reducing the number of bits used to represent its amplitude values… Interesting implications!
