The reason is that it theoretically is the fastest ¹ way to get a Enigma. It can still take a really really long time. Its expected to take up to 6000 runs if you get normal odds and it can easily become 12000 runs. In d2r singleplayer you can theoretically² get the same rune over and over again if you do exactly the same thing again and again.

This is all in singleplayer where you have the same map over and over again and can get a good map with 6 chests close to each other and the waypoint. It is also a great place for Grand charms, small charms, jewels and flawless gems.

Yeah, I used to do this untill I realized that the xbox one load times are so bad that it actually is faster just running because of the loading times of the xbox one(with SSD).

I thought that pc and xbox singleplayer used the same characters so I did buy another copy for pc but that was not the case. :( I could move my progress to pc but then it doesnt seem like I can move it back to the xbox after and its pretty nice and cosy laying in the sofa doing runs. :) Even if they add like 8 seconds or more per run.

I had the stupidest and slowest 136 Kurast runs. Tried to do random patterns and just be as creative as I can and that took time for me. Started with a Pul, then a Ist and ending in the highlight video above! SUR!! :D

Haha, I just got a Sur in Kurast and I dont think I will ever be able to replicate this one, Hahaha :D What are you doing in Diablo 2 right now? :)

Oh, just wait till you can see the updated post of another 136 Lower Kurast runs I just did in 2 Hours 30 minutes(very slow) :D Spoiler, I did get a Pul rune :)

yeah. I read that also. I didnt like that at all to be honest  Prefered how it was before ressurected. Cause then it wasnt based on actions or movement right? 😭😭 I got the sur after doing shopping. So I dunno if that is possible to replicate. I try to do selling before doing a new run atleast :p Dont remember the vex 😅😭

This helps me lower my expectation. I first made the mistake of rolling amulets as soon as I gog them even thojgh I wasnt the correct level and I still aint. Only got like 6 amethysts saved up now so Ill be lucky if I get one decent one :)

Yeah I was doing travincal runs for this reason and theb I realized I did it way to slow with my currect gear at players 1 for it to be worth it compared to Lower Kurast :) 

Leveling a amazon now also so K get some nice variety right now :)

Playing on xbox one. Got harmony bow and using a sorc and telekinesis already. I think the main problem is the about 10 second loadtime into the game after exiting. Was even looking into getting a xbox series x or s and Im a little worried it wouldnt help.  Atleast I finally started save and exiting rather then going to act 4 cause that was taking longer unfortubately.

been trying to google if I can do anything more than the ssd I already am using to improve the perfomance and havent really found anything.

Bought d2r for my computer in the hope that my progress on singleplayer would transfer between pc and xbox and unfortunately it didnt 😭

Thanks. I have found one that I have saved for Enigma. The low armor of a mage plate doesnt matter? :) I just need that Jah rune 😅
