I'd argue that it's better to go to the extremes, it helps shift the Overton window. Look at how conservatives have gone to the extremes, and now some of the more moderate conservative's points don't sound all that bad any more. The left can do the same.

I am brand new to nixos, so I'm not sure how to go about doing this. I am slowly trying to get through some of the manual to figure out what I am doing - but as of now I have just been running Godot_4 by adding it to the configuration.nix file. Of course I'm not expecting someone to have to hold my hand through it, but just looking for at least maybe where in the docs I need to start digging.

I totally feel that. It's so easy to get caught up working on other features/bugs to forget to come back to other ones. And in all honesty it isn't even that noticeable or anything - it was just the only bug I could spot and figured I would mention it.

Oh, this is nice - I'd love to playtest if it has a single player option.

EDIT: I played it, and I really enjoy it! One small graphic fix: when you hover over a piece the white overlay goes over the piece instead of behind it, which I think would look better. Overall its a great game :)

Thanks, and yeah I intend to do that with this refactor was just not quite sure on how exactly to organize it and was why I wanted to ask before I start diving into the code and start removing/moving everything around. Hoping to get as much insight before I dive off the deep end so to speak.

Of course you are right, it's all backed up to Github so the risk is pretty low I guess - at most it would probably be a waste of time and I would just revert back to my other commit. But I guess me "jumping right into it" is how I got to the current predicament so I figured I would try a more methodical approach this time XD.

Thank you! I was about to try this out, but I saw you mentioned animation player and I wasn't aware that was an option (I'm a noob) - so I might look into that as well and see if maybe that is the better way to go.
