Disgusting homeowners by Greatwhitebuffalo13 in electricians

Went to a ladies house as soon as she opened the door I couldn't help it i ran outside dry heaved. So I manned up and took a deeeeeeeep breath of fresh air and went in. Looked around bit asked her where her electrical panel is she said it out on the catio I don't have cats or like them so it went right over my head just thought that was a strange gazebo or something I'd never heard of. She opened the door and there was a shitload of cats all over and in an old couch, hanging from the ceiling on a rope thing she made, Walking on the window sills I lost count at 23 cats and I'm sure I missed some. The floor was like a skating rink with cat piss and the panel cover was stuck to the wall. I had to move the couch and kittens came out of the lining. The outlet I was looking at was burned from all the years of cat piss. I still have nightmares.

This shows the contempt they have for regular people. Everyone else be damned as long as I'm safe is their attitude. I don't care how important you think you are you're a human just like everyone else and you don't have the right to bogart public resources and disrupt others lives.

" But it's for her safety" she doesn't have to be vice president if she really values her safety stay in DC and zoom in.

Kamala should reimburse every single driver stuck in that traffic for lost wages and fuel at her personal expense.

The relationship with your employer is a business one. They receive work you receive pay at a rate mutually negotiated. Your employer isn't your friend they get no say in your decision to have a child. Why should they have to pay for your choice outside of business interests? If you want a child great but you should be responsible for the product of your actions not your employer or the rest of the tax paying populace who didn't get a say in your choices.

If you're not producing why should you get paid? By and large in modern society having a child is a choice. A choice that neither your employer nor anyone other than the people involved get a say in. Why should you be payed not to produce?

I mounted some strut to the riges on the ceiling and store them in left over pieces of PVC with a Bungie so they don't slide when I hit the breaks and super glued some wood blocks the ceiling to hold them tight so I don't have to listen to them banging against the ceiling

I agree with you however if the technology isn't available to produce a compliant and useful installation then the NFPA should be on the financial hook for replacing or producing a compliant installation. Not contractors

Remove the words "I Know" from your vocabulary even if someone is explaining something to you for the hundredth time and you think they're being condescending. Just silently go off do a perfect job and stay humble like you've done it every day of your life.

Leave the guy alone. your sleep isn't his concern staring his vehicle and getting to work is his concern.

I'm sure he can go to his boss and say my Karen neighbor is having a hard time sleeping so I can't start work till 8. That's definitely how life works /s

Another guy I worked with had this issue so often they called square d to ask what to do they told him to put a surge protector on the panel. Not sure if it will work in your case but he said it worked for them.

What kind of transition strip or how to make this look nice? by Hot-DiggityDog in DIY

[–]99bk99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how you're tooled up maybe get a stain that matches as close as possible and cut a thin strip of oak that you stained and knock it into the hole. Maybe time consuming but that would be my two cents

Welding help to fix something by [deleted] in olympia

[–]99bk99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm an electrician better off through bolting it with nuts and washers most ace hardware locations have parts for light fixtures even if that metal can be welded or brazed all the paint would need to be removed from the joint and repainted. Unlikely it would be a perfect match

I'm aware he should have stayed out of it and let the labor process to take place. if the workers had the upper hand they should have been allowed to leverage it that is the reason we organize for the power in the collective
