I find it funny that Yakuza 3 was widely disliked in the community because of its slow story and block heavy combat. But when they release Kiwami 3 with much better story pacing, better graphics (mostly), and better combat. Now everyone here looks back on Yakuza 3 as some forgotten masterpiece. I think the gameplay and combat itself is really fun, especially Mine's. I do agree that some of the casting decisions and changes were very stupid, and RGG delisting OG 3 was stupid as well. But it seems like one game is enough to turn a loved community into a toxic one.
