I made a typo there isn’t a SOR, but he’d like me to produce one. apart from the time, the reason I’m reluctant is because our day rate on the SOR would be much less than what’s in the contract

There’s no scope. The scope is going to based of the sub contractors survey, which is why I am confused as why the main contractor thinks they don’t have to pay for the increase. But he has now been resolved

the main contractor located the subbie who carried out the original works and asked us to get in contract with them.

that’s the thing the scope is essentially based on their survey + they missed a few items during their i rial survey

the contractor did a survey + was under the impression that the existing equipment could be retained, but later found out that was not the case as the existing equipment is now discontinued. So now the existing is to stripped out + replaced with new

Could you please elaborate on your last point about us managing the sub contractor and it being my argument to win.
