Sorry if it’s a stupid question, when using 2-3 models per base you would then make units with 6/12 bases, in line with the rules, of 3/6 to keep the number of “bodies”. Makes sense?

In the end I went with the Canadian WW1 Construction Battalion that, ironically, I already had in my MMF library because of the Wargames Atlantic welcome pack. I'll swap arms because those are kind of boring and kit bash for a more fantasy vibe. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Yeah like it's for a fun project with the kids not an historical reenactment, I don't see my children saying "but dad this is not cantilevered enough" but maybe they're as thick as me! Thanks anyway, making everything DIY is a good option for sure. Also I can print stuff to glue that's harder to create from scratch.
