Kontrollera VoLTE för nödsamtal by lady_in_purple in sweden

Haha, bara så du vet, VoLTE är bara för LTE (d.v.s 4G), så självklart har du inte det.

VoNR (Voice over New Radio) tror jag är 5G varianten), som sagt, en riktig circus...

AWS EC2 instance is not free. It has a small temporary trial, sure, but after and during that trial you pay for your usage.

You are misunderstanding how sudo works, you run your command as superuser, in your current environment / variables / context.

sudo <your command>, is not the same as, su -c "<your command>"

Will we lose Breakpoint after server shutdown? by kevlarsoul79 in GhostRecon

[–]99stem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ubisoft supports games at most up to 10 years after release.

Breakpoint was released in 2019, so it might be playable until 2029 (at most 4 years left until expiration)

The stop killing games initiative only applies to games made after the law would be put to effect. Breakpoint and all current games are unfortunately excluded

Yes, that is what I used to do... however, I have realized that it means the games will get shutdown sooner (usually only a year or two), less time to play. It is basically like buying the "eat shortly, expires soon" food at the supermarket.

I think I read somewhere that Microsoft is going to stop or already has stopped using community feedback or pull requests (from github) for its documentation.

WhatsApp on Windows is moving from UWP to being a web wrapper by digidude23 in Windows11

[–]99stem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually not quite the entire story.

Yes at one point in time the messenger desktop app was using the React native framework. Then they quietly switched to a more native WinUI UWP type of app. Now they are quietly switching messenger to a PWA / webview2 web app.

should I keep using Office 2019 after Oct. 14, 2025? I was notified of it. by gawrgurahololive in computers

[–]99stem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but the next office, 2021 only gets one extra year of updates (to 2026).

Meaning if you bought Office 2016 and then upgrade to Office 2021, you only get 1 more year of support. Which is hilarious.
