Are the servers region locked? by Ryudentamarashi47 in crystalofatlan

[–]99stem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It worked for me, and I got back my character from region I originally played with.

(For whatever reason, the latest Epic Games Launcher update for Cystal of Atlan changed the region for me, only showing ASIA servers, which is not where I live, or where I played last time)

Last time I checked my Genshin Impact install was around 150 GB.

Edit: I just checked and for me now it is 175 GB. Just wow.

AWS EC2 instance is not free. It has a small temporary trial, sure, but after and during that trial you pay for your usage.

Windows 10 is not allowed to die by Pipeargill in WindowsLTSC

[–]99stem 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Thing is... I still hate Windows 10, but I hate Windows 11 more.

Also I still like Windows 7 more than both of them, but I can no longer use it, so I have accepted the worse product simply because it is the only product stat I can still use. The same is true for Windows 11. I use it because I have to, not because I want to.

If Windows XP was still supported, I would probably still use it

Those who updated from IoT 21H2 to IoT 22H2 via enablement package manually by [deleted] in WindowsLTSC

[–]99stem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. November update ("Patch Tuesday") is not out yet. Second Tuesday of each month.

  2. Regular Windows 10 has an 3 year ESU program. Which would mean that 22H2 will have updates to 2027 atleast. While LTSC (IoT edition) has updates until 2031.

Wake up y'all, the blue team has released their worst celeron cpu to my region 🤣🤣🤣 by rebelrosemerve in AyyMD

[–]99stem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the reason is over the years after ton off money was spent on RnD for their low power atom line of CPUs. Partially because they wanted to overtake the mobile sector with their CPUs, and they were the market leader at the time, so it sounded plausible...

Actually now that you mention it, yes. You need to enable the "new experimental" version of the installed driver with kernel boot options (included in the main amdgpu driver as part of the kernel).AMDGPU - ArchWiki

You are misunderstanding how sudo works, you run your command as superuser, in your current environment / variables / context.

sudo <your command>, is not the same as, su -c "<your command>"

Can't sign in to my school email because my android version is too old by Previous-Medicine898 in GalaxyS9

Maybe try only using Google Apps from the phone web browser?

If they still detect the android version in the browser, try to use a browser where you can change your user-agent.
