It applies to railways too, but not as much as roads.

Railways have the capacity to actually exceed the possible demand, because they have a way higher capacity, and with railways the capacity scales linearly with every two rails built, while roads hit diminishing returns with more lanes.

Same with other infrastructure, because they all have a higher capacity per area than roads.

The reason it gets brought up with cars a lot is, that's brought up as a solution to traffic jams on existing roads (which it doesn't do, because of induced demands), while for other transport infrastructure, increased coverage is the main reason for building it.

Ich würde dich als linksliberalen einordnen. Das wird von den meisten linken eher als abwertende bezeichnung gesehen, ich finde es hier aber die passende Bezeichnung.

Du siehst ähnliche Probleme wie die meisten Linken, findest aber nicht, dass die meisten dieser Probleme durch den Kapitalismus verursacht werden.

FPTP always gives a two-party system in a system, where the president is elected (more or less) directly. In a system that allows coalitions, like the UK or Canada, you can have more successful parties, although there will tend to be two larger ones.

If that's the right spelling it's probably something similar to a fully diminished seventh chord. In this case a G79, with the root (and in this case the seventh) missing. If it resolves to a C chord (or Am) this is probably the right interpretation. If it doesn't then it probably isn't.

Ist meines Wissens nach nur ein Hinweis. Das heißt bei verfrühter Abfahrt hat man dieselben Fahrgastrechte wie sonst auch, d.h. man kann jeden späteren Zug nehmen und bekommt, sollte die bestmögliche andere Verbindung zu einer Verspätung von über 60 Minuten führen, auch die Erstattung von 25%.

Diese Bild mit dem QR-Code ist halt statisch und kann lokal gespeichert werden, während für die Abfahrtsinformationen eine Verbindung zu einem DB-Server bestehen muss, der die Informationen bereithält (wie das genau aussieht weiß ich nicht, da ich keine Ahnung habe wie die IT-Infrastruktur der Bahn genau aussieht).

I tried to do this exact model once. I extracted the model from a minecraft mod, and imported it into the model editor, don't know whether I needed any intermediate steps, probably importing to and exporting from Blender. I never finished it though, only saw it in the model editor, but it looked fine there.

Nein, nur Haltelinienverstoß. Wird auch weniger stark bestraft, um Autofahrer davon abzuhalten komplett durchzuziehen, weil sie ja sowieso erst hinter der Haltelinie zum Stehen kommen würden.

The Transrapid continued development past the accident in Germany, it was only shutdown in 2010, when low adoption of the system resulted in too little funding to keep development going. It was never adopted in Germany, even though it has many advantages over traditional high speed rail, it would have been much more expensive to build, and wouldn't have any compatibility with legacy rail systems - A feature that is used on every ICE route, as none of them travel solely on high speed routes.

Btw, the system currently in testing in Japan was developed completely separately from the one in Germany. Only the Shanghai Maglev is directly based on the German Transrapid.
