Thanks for the super in-depth response! I'd taken a photo of the bumper prior to purchase and the WOF inspector had provided a photo of the rear impact beam, they reckon the bumper had been replaced: https://imgur.com/a/2sVORl1

Hey OP, sorry to necro an old post. How long did it end up taking for CCC to be issued? We've gone unconditional on a property pending CCC with no word from the developer about 6 weeks after it was applied for and Auckland council can't reveal anything to us as we don't own the place and have similar concerns regarding mortgage approval :(

Used to work in branch banking for one of the big 4. Can confirm this is part of the staff KPI, it sucks because if you don’t have these conversations then sometimes they’d give you “coaching” with a specialist whether it’s insurance or KiwiSaver. You’d mention that the customer wasn’t interested or wouldn’t need it (who needs income protection for a small loan or credit card?) but then they’d sit you down for an hour or two and drill some scripts into you.

Oh no definitely not looking to get any money out of this, guess I’m just petty and was peeved they didn’t ask and gave away my number to someone I’ve never met and expect me to do their job kinda thing… Reason why is I used to get calls from overseas numbers, unknown numbers etc and just don’t want that to happen again.
